Friday, June 2nd come to the Bertolet Memorial Library area as the festival weekend begins.
Come early and walk through the Antique Tractor & Engine Show (noon – dusk), then at 6:00 pm enjoy the Tractor Rodeo.
Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets, as you will want to stay for the evening. Seating is not available.
Food will be available starting at 6:00 until we run out or after the fireworks. The Busy Beavers 4-H will have ice cream, and the Leaf River Lions Club will have a variety of food, including 1/3 lb Hamburgers, 1/5 lb Beef Hot Dogs, Johnsonville Brats, Nachos, Chips, Popcorn, Brownies, Pop and Water. Louisiana Snowballs and Custer’s Last Stand will have snow cones in any flavor and food available.
At 6:30 – 8:30 pm there will be live music by Grass Attack
At 8:30 the Leaf River Grange 1812 Citizen of the Year will be awarded, followed by the areas’ best Fireworks Show presented by the Leaf River Lions Club. Donations for the Fireworks will be collected and are appreciated.
